Konica Minolta debuts Exa Cardio at ACC

Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas plans to introduce Exa Cardio at the upcoming American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting in Orlando, FL.

A module of Konica Minolta's Exa enterprise imaging platform, Exa Cardio includes PACS, RIS, electronic health record (EHR) and specialty viewers, as well as the company's zero-footprint universal viewer for DICOM and non-DICOM images. It also provides server-side rendering for large files, such as echocardiograms and nuclear cardiac exams, according to the vendor.

The package offers access to echocardiograms, including priors, with user-customizable formats. For example, stress echocardiograms can be displayed together by stage and view for treadmill and pharmacologic exams, Konica Minolta said.

The company noted that this year's show will mark its debut as an exhibitor at an ACC meeting.
