RedRick will debut folding workstation at RSNA 2016

PACS furniture provider RedRick Technologies will introduce a folding radiologist workstation at RSNA 2016 in Chicago.

The full-size, sit/stand ergonomic radiologist workstation can be rolled through a standard doorway. It could be used, for example, to quickly swap out a malfunctioning PACS workstation or to provide a dedicated subspecialty reading workstation that is adjacent to a general reading workstation, according to RedRick.

In other RSNA 2016 developments, RedRick said it plans to show its support for RadFlowSpace, an ergonomic workstation design laboratory run by Dr. Eliot Siegel from the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Dr. John Mukai of Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. RedRick, in partnership with Barco and McKesson, is developing a custom sit/stand workstation that addresses the evolving ergonomic demands of the project, according to the vendor. The firm will demonstrate the RadFlowSpace workstation in its booth.
