PACS developer Sectra has signed a multiyear contract to implement its vendor-neutral archive (VNA) at University Hospitals (UH) in Cleveland.
The VNA will handle patient imaging throughout the University Hospitals system, which includes 16 hospitals and more than 30 outpatient facilities and provides healthcare services in 15 counties within northeast Ohio. The initial VNA implementation will cover radiology, cardiology, dermatology, and ophthalmology, with UH hosting the archive through its existing data centers, according to Sectra.
The VNA will initially manage 1.5 million studies per year, Sectra said.
