Image management technology developer Mach7 Technologies is implementing its Mach7 enterprise imaging platform at the University of Georgia (UGA) Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
The UGA facility will use the platform to create a vendor-neutral imaging management model for enhanced image access, sharing, and visualization across the enterprise.
UGA also plans to leverage Mach7's iModality Mobile App, which allows clinicians to capture non-DICOM files using iPhones and iPads. These files can then be automatically linked to the appropriate patient data in the electronic medical record, Mach7 said.
