Image display firm Barco has formed a worldwide partnership with digital pathology developer Ventana Medical Systems.
Ventana will offer a turnkey digital pathology imaging platform that bundles Barco's display technology with Ventana's Virtuoso Web-based digital pathology image and workflow management software application. Barco is contributing its 4-megapixel Coronis Fusion DL diagnostic color display, MDRC-2124 widescreen clinical monitor, and MediCal QAWeb calibration software.
Ventana launched the integrated package on Monday in North America, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa.
