Avreo lands meaningful use certification

RIS/PACS vendor Avreo said that its InterWorks Meaningful Use Module for Ambulatory has received 2011/2012 complete electronic health record (EHR) certification by a U.S. Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body.

The software can now support providers with stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), according to Avreo.
