Radiology image-processing firm 3DR Labs said it will include in its reports liver iron concentration data obtained using imaging laboratory services provider Resonance Health's artificial intelligence (AI) tool for analyzing MR images.
Resonance Health's FerriSmart AI tool can produce liver iron quantification results within seconds. The addition of FerriSmart to 3DR Labs' arsenal of image-processing tools will enable clinicians to monitor liver iron concentrations in individuals suspected of having a variety of disorders, such as sickle cell anemia and thalassemia, the companies said.
3DR is a subsidiary of healthcare performance improvement technology firm Accumen.
