ViewRay touts University of Wisconsin MRIdian installation

Image-guided radiation therapy developer ViewRay said the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center in Madison has begun treating patients with an upgraded version of its MRIdian Linac.

The upgraded device features greater treatment efficiency and sharper beams, and it is three times faster than the previous-generation MRIdian system, ViewRay said.
