Sundgren takes over as ISMRM president

The International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) has appointed Dr. Pia Maly Sundgren, PhD, as its new president for 2018 to 2019.

Sundgren, a professor of radiology at Lund University in Sweden, succeeded previous president Dr. Daniel Sodickson, PhD, at the conclusion of the society's recent annual meeting in Paris.

The society's next annual meeting is due to take place in Montreal from 11 to 19 May 2019.
