Nevro gets MR-conditional labeling for spinal cord device

Medical device firm Nevro announced that it has received MR-conditional labeling in the U.S. for the use of its Senza spinal cord stimulation (SCS) device during full-body MRI scans.

Previously, labeling with the device was limited to head and extremity MRI scans. This new full-body labeling expansion applies to all Senza SCS implants, including those currently installed in patients.

Nevro anticipates a similar full-body MR-conditional labeling expansion for its Senza II SCS.
