Radiology TV debuts radiology video content service

Start-up company Radiology TV has introduced a waiting room video content service for diagnostic and interventional radiology service providers.

Radiology TV, or RadTV, is a subscription-based service designed to educate and influence patients in waiting rooms, according to the firm. Providers can create their own customized channel from dozens of available videos, including basic education on imaging studies, patient testimonial videos, interventional radiology procedure educational videos, and screening promotions. In addition, subscribers can refresh their content on a monthly basis, adding newly available videos, existing videos owned by the practice, and other content such as custom videos, Radiology TV said.

The company's RadTV Appliance plugs into the back of waiting room televisions and automatically begins running videos in a preprescribed order. RadTV is suitable for hospitals, health networks, independent diagnostic testing facilities, women's centers, and other imaging providers, the company said.
