National medical group Mednax has agreed to sell its MedData business to Frazier Healthcare Partners of Seattle for $250 million.
MedData provides data management services to hospitals, health systems, and healthcare providers, serving more than 10,000 physicians and a network of more than 3,000 facilities nationwide, the company said.
The sale price includes up to an additional $50 million based on MedData's short- and long-term performance. Mednax said the sale will allow it to focus on its core physician services business.
