Planmed gets FDA clearance for new Verity CBCT features

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared the latest features added to the Verity conebeam CT (CBCT) scanner from mammography and orthopedic imaging firm Planmed.

The new features include the Planmeca Ultra Low Dose radiation protocol, the Planmeca CALM correction algorithm for latent movement, and several options for imaging small structures in the head and neck.
