MILabs completes Aussie installation

Preclinical imaging developer MILabs has completed the installation of its Adaptive U-CT XUHR x-ray CT system for Sydney Imaging at the University of Sydney in Australia.

The preclinical device is designed for in vivo imaging of various animal models of human diseases. It combines complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) technology with a thick scintillation layer to convert low-dose x-rays to CT images. The scanner can also be upgraded to molecular CT imaging at any time.

Sydney Imaging provides research and education in biomedical science and offers preclinical and clinical modalities for training and development of specialized imaging skills.
