Unfors RaySafe debuts RaySafe X2 Prestige

Testing instruments developer Unfors RaySafe has launched its new RaySafe X2 Prestige device for x-ray quality assurance.

The system features a base unit and external sensors for radiography/fluoroscopy, mammography, and CT, as well as a light sensor for testing monitors. An additional mAs sensor can be integrated into the base unit.

The sensors capture parameters with one measurement, providing users with information about dose, dose rate, kVp, total filtration, exposure time, pulse, pulse rate, dose/frame, mA, mAs, and corresponding waveforms on a built-in touchscreen, according to the company.

The touchscreen can display up to 12 parameters at the same time and delivers parameter-specific graphical analyses by scrolling.
