Riverain lands $15M investment from China fund

Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Riverain Technologies has garnered a $15 million investment in a financing round led by Ping An Global Voyager Fund of Hong Kong.

Riverain said it would use the funds to extend and accelerate the development of products in the thoracic region and elsewhere in the human body, as well as to scale commercially -- both in the U.S. and abroad -- through established and developing distribution channels.
