Bay Labs touts AI research at ASE 2019

Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Bay Labs said that new data involving its investigational deep learning-based echocardiography acquisition software will be presented at the upcoming annual scientific sessions of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) in Portland, OR.

In a June 23 presentation, Dr. Akhil Narang of Northwestern Memorial Hospital will share results from a study that compared the diagnostic quality of echocardiograms acquired by a trained cardiac sonographer with that of images produced by registered nurses with limited training using Bay Labs technology, the company said.
