Visage to highlight AI at RSNA 2018

Enterprise imaging firm Visage Imaging plans to show its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities based on its Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform, among other pending products, at RSNA 2018.

Visage 7 AI is a work-in-progress open platform that features a flexible Python open application programming interface (API) for AI. Visage will also demonstrate a variety of internally developed algorithms, as well as algorithms from academic institutions and other third-party vendors, that support in-viewer workflow for radiologists using Visage 7.

The company will also unveil Visage 7.1.14, another work-in-progress. Upon release, new capabilities will include the following:

  • Refinement of interpretation workflow for breast imaging on dedicated workstations
  • Further development of hanging protocols and the ability to use any combination of monitor resolutions in the same protocol to optimize multimodality workflows
  • Enhanced navigation of multiphase cine loops for continuous playback of cine, while scrolling through the acquisition phases
