LPixel secures $30M to develop medical imaging AI

Image analysis and processing technology firm LPixel of Tokyo has raised $30 million to fund the development of artificial intelligence (AI) medical imaging technology.

Investors include Cyberdyne, Fujifilm, Olympus, and TechMatrix, LPixel said. The company was established in 2014 by University of Tokyo researchers.
