Fujifilm opens 2 AI centers in Tokyo

Fujifilm Medical Systems has launched two new artificial intelligence (AI) development centers in Tokyo.

The centers are called the Fujifilm Creative AI Centre, known as Brain(s), and the Fujifilm AI Academy. Fujifilm noted that the name Brain(s) comes from the fusing of AI with human brainpower and wisdom.

Fujifilm created the Brain(s) Centre to enhance collaboration with academic institutions, and the Fujifilm AI Academy is intended to support internal and external AI experts, the company said.
