Zebra to exhibit AI image analysis with Google at RSNA 2017

Big-data visualization software developer Zebra Medical Vision has enabled its artificial intelligence (AI) technology for analyzing medical images to run on Google's Cloud Platform.

Zebra last month announced that its new AI1 service would analyze medical imaging scans for a flat $1 rate. By enabling AI1 to run on Google Cloud, the company believes it will be able to offer health providers ongoing population-health and clinical insights to improve patients' lives and reduce healthcare costs.

Both Zebra and Google will display the deep-learning engine of AI1 at the upcoming RSNA 2017 meeting.
