Zebra unveils deep learning in Australia, New Zealand

Big-data visualization software developer Zebra Medical Vision has received regulatory clearance in Australia and New Zealand for its deep-learning analytics engine.

Now available, the engine can analyze CT data for signs of fatty liver, excess coronary calcium, emphysema, low bone density, and vertebral compression fractures, according to the vendor. It can be integrated into PACS, RIS, reporting, and electronic medical record software.

In addition, Zebra said the engine has received the CE Mark and is also available in Europe. More than a dozen new algorithms are expected to be added to the platform in the coming months.
