TeraRecon highlights vendor-neutral viewing at HIMSS

Advanced visualization developer TeraRecon is highlighting the capability of its iNtuition enterprise image management package to support enterprise-wide vendor-neutral viewing of medical images at this week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting.

iNtuition features a range of options, including iNtuitionEMV (Enterprise Medical Viewer); iNtuitionReview, a multimodality, multidisciplinary 2D/3D/4D viewer; and iNtuition Client, which provides advanced image processing for volumetric scans such as CT, MRI, and PET, according to TeraRecon.

These client options integrate with other healthcare informatics systems such as electronic medical records, vendor-neutral archives, HIS, RIS, and PACS; support for mobile devices is provided via the iOS iNtuitionMobile app, the company said.
