Using modules as building blocks to build templates and reports may help overcome some of the barriers to the adoption of structured reporting, and this poster presentation will explain how it's done.

Modular structured reporting offers an alternative to the use of rigid templates and macros containing predefined subparts. It can be personalized while relying on the best-practice templates of the RSNA radiology report template library. It can also manage abnormal descriptions in a structured format.

Dr. Mansoor Fatehi, general secretary of the Iranian Society of Radiology and a radiologist at Pardis Noor, a private imaging center in Tehran, will describe the elements of this system and explain how it works.
