In this poster presentation, a research team from Thailand will present a risk analysis matrix for analyzing and managing security risks to RIS/PACS.
Security risks to PACS can be broken down into five areas: network penetration, malicious code, teleradiology, uncontrolled media, and uncontrolled system acquisition and maintenance. In their risk analysis matrix, the researchers describe risk severity levels based on their experience, workflow, and systems in use in hospitals, said presenter Suranarong Kamtasila of Piyavate Hospital in Bangkok.
