French website offers diagnostic decision support

Sunday, December 1 | 12:05 p.m.-12:15 p.m. | SSA11-09 | Room S403A
In this session, French radiologist Dr. Raphaël Khayat will showcase Diagnologic.com, a site intended to help radiologists with difficult diagnostic challenges.

Diagnologic.com features an online medical database with more than 100,000 images. Registered users can search by more than 250 anatomic locations and more than 500 gamuts, according to founder Khayat.

"The main goal of the website is to offer a means of computer-assisted radiology, in which radiologists can search for similar cases to create a differential list to assist in their interpretation," he said. "They can either use it for finding a diagnosis they don't know or to educate themselves."

In addition to providing an overview of the website during his presentation, Khayat plans to share details about a significant update that's being launched at the meeting.
