Swedish PACS firm Sectra plans to showcase the integration of its radiology PACS and a pathology PACS built on the same IT infrastructure at RSNA 2015.
The configuration is designed to enhance diagnostic capabilities of radiologists and pathologists for cancer care with both clinical information and complete patient imaging records.
The combination of the two PACS on the same IT infrastructure allows for sharing of images and reports, the correlation of findings, and an enhanced view of patient disease to reach more accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions, Sectra said.
