Quantum Medical Imaging has introduced a new TechVision version for its ceiling- and floor-mounted radiographic systems.

TechVision allows technologists using Quantum's radiographic systems to view and set up technique parameters and access setup functions right from tube-side, according to the vendor. Technologists would have the same ability to perform those functions as if they were at the generator's operator control panel. TechVision can also provide a digital image preview in less than three seconds directly at tube-side, Quantum said.

In addition, the new TechVision features a larger viewing area of 10 inches, an enhanced graphical interface, and faster performance, Quantum said. The firm plans to highlight the latest version of TechVision at next week's RSNA 2013 in Chicago.
