Visage showcases works-in-progress at RSNA

Advanced visualization and PACS firm Visage Imaging is featuring numerous works-in-progress and product upgrades at the 2012 RSNA meeting that enhance the performance of its Visage 7 thin-client, enterprise imaging platform.

New work-in-progress products include enhanced cardiac display protocols for angiography and echocardiography studies, the display of multiple concurrent cine views, and ECG-synchronized display of pre- and post-stress echocardiography.

Visage is also demonstrating the recently upgraded Visage Ease 1.2.3 for mobile imaging results with new support for the Apple iPhone 5 and improved capability with the Apple iOS 6 operating system. Convenient push notifications for Visage Ease will be demonstrated as a work-in-progress, as well as new support for attaching photographs and screen captures from iOS devices. This mobile capability builds on a universal workflow introduced with Visage 7.1.2, supporting the attachment of non-DICOM files into radiology studies accessed via the Visage 7 enterprise viewer, according to the company.

In addition, Visage is now offering "synchronized QA," an automated set of capabilities that provides HL7 standards-based integration to Acuo Technology's vendor-neutral Universal Clinical Platform (UCP) archive. This allows for seamless integration of typical quality assurance functionality, such as edit, merge, and delete.
