TORONTO - Radiologist and cancer imaging specialist Nandita deSouza, MD, discussed the potential of PET/MRI in oncology imaging in an interview at the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) 2023 meeting in Toronto.

A professor emeritus at the U.K. Institute of Cancer Research in London, deSouza is also a member of the ISMRM's planning committee. In her conversation with AuntMinnie.com, she also highlighted the society's international outreach program, which this year is sponsoring attendance and mentoring more than a dozen radiologists from Africa.
