Varex Imaging is launching a new development chain package for CT and featuring its x-ray tubes, digital detectors, and software at ECR 2018 in Vienna.

The Varex Power Chain helps CT developers improve the total cost of device ownership, shorten development times, simplify the supply chain, and provide high levels of system integration and support, according to the company.

Varex is also highlighting its line of complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and amorphous silicon-based digital detectors for x-ray, mammography, and fluoroscopy and also showcasing a range of x-ray tubes, including anode-end-grounded CT tubes, dual-ended CT tubes, mammography tubes for 3D and high-throughput applications and 2D imaging, and replacement CT tubes.

Finally, Varex is featuring its suite of manual and automated collimators for fixed and mobile systems, its Nexus DR digital image acquisition system, its Veolity lung screening workstation for CT, and its MeVis Online Academy online educational modules.
