Toshiba joins Steris for hybrid surgical suites

Toshiba America Medical Systems has formed an alliance with surgical products provider Steris to offer vascular, cardiovascular, pediatric, and neurosurgical hybrid surgical suites.

Toshiba will contribute its tableside digital information and imaging technologies, while Steris will provide its custom-designed high-definition integrated surgical suites. In addition to including its LED surgical lighting and visualization systems, Harmony iQ integration service, and operating room equipment management capabilities, Steris will also add its room design services, allowing the vendors to design and integrate their technologies for joint customers.
