Freeland inks OEM deal with Toshiba

Digital image management provider Freeland Systems has signed an OEM agreement with Toshiba America Medical Systems.

Under a worldwide license, Toshiba will utilize Freeland's Backpack digital gateway technology to provide DICOM data transfer between Toshiba ultrasound units and a combination of image, reporting, and electronic medical record systems, according to Freeland.
