Medical record services provider eHealth Global Technologies has introduced updates to its eHealth Access record retrieval service.
The system enables electronic and Web-based management of new patient referrals, while integrating referred patient information into hospital scheduling systems. It allows users to automatically route reports, information, and status updates and send confirmations to the referring physician. These documents can be accessed online or via fax, according to eHealth.
