Advanced visualization software developer Ziosoft has inked an agreement with computer-aided detection (CAD) developer Medicsight.
Under the deal, Medicsight's ColonCAD API CT colonography software and Ziosoft's Ziostation technologies will be integrated. In addition, Ziosoft will distribute both technologies in the U.S., according to the firms.
The companies had already been partnering in Europe prior to recent U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for ColonCAD. The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health will be one of the first U.S. sites to employ the combined technologies.
