Medison unveils new ultrasound systems

At this year's RSNA meeting in Chicago, ultrasound developer Medison America of Cypress, CA, debuted its Accuvix XG, SonoAce R7, and SonoAce R5 ultrasound systems.

Accuvix XG is a premium ultrasound system that features high-definition volume imaging (HDVI) for 3D images, ElastoScan, 3D XI and 3D MXI for quick volume acquisition, and Multi Slice View to boost diagnostic confidence, according to the company.

SonoAce R7 is designed for hospitals that need multimodality ultrasound functionality in a compact package. The system is equipped with advanced imaging features, including DynamicMR, that can be used in a wide range of applications and to improve workflow. SonoAce R7 also features a 17-inch flat-screen monitor and comes in a small package for ease of use in different departments.

SonoAce R5 is a cart-based compact color ultrasound system designed to deliver intuitive user interface at an affordable price range, according to Medison. The lightweight system features a small footprint for easy transportation, Power and PW Doppler, Quick Scan, Harmonic Imaging, Full Spectrum Imaging, and the SonoView Pro DICOM viewer. It also has a 15-inch LCD monitor and includes three probe connectors, two USB 2.0 ports, and an optional height-adjustable cart.
