A-Life to highlight new coding capabilities

Coding firm A-Life Medical will showcase new computer-assisted coding capabilities at the RSNA meeting in Chicago.

The San Diego-based firm will debut ICD-10 coding capabilities for its LifeCode natural language processing (NLP) technology. In addition, A-Life said it would demonstrate side-by-side and comparison views and analysis of ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes within the code grid of its Actus medical coding and workflow management application.

The new ICD-10 capabilities will be available beginning in 2011.
