Bio-Optronics to highlight workflow software

Healthcare IT firm Bio-Optronics of Rochester, NY, plans to highlight its Momentum software for automated physician, staff, and patient scheduling at the upcoming RSNA meeting.

Momentum Physician and Staff Scheduler can keep track of multiple criteria, business rules, personal requests, and obligations to build equitable schedules using algorithms that compute needs and preferences as they change, according to Bio-Optronics.

It can be used with a facility's RIS as well as with Bio-Optronics' Momentum Patient Scheduler application, which uses validation logic to ensure the most optimal patient visit slots are offered and that the right staff, rooms, and machines will be available, Bio-Optronics said.
