I3 to debut new PACS features

PACS vendor Intuitive Imaging Informatics (I3) of Bell Canyon, CA, plans to announce new PACS functionalities at the annual RSNA meeting later this month.

The company will introduce a critical results management tool designed to give radiologists and administrators the ability to alert referring physicians to critical findings, ensuring acknowledgement and receipt of notification.

I3 also will exhibit a mammography screening feature for its ImageQube Web-based PACS, which will provide toolbars and thumbnails on each monitor, along with computer-aided detection (CAD) display capabilities.
