Aloka transducers compatible with ASP

Ultrasound vendor Aloka of Wallingford, CT, has announced that its intraoperative transducers are compatible with sterilization methods of the Sterrad NX and Sterrad 100NX systems from Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) of Irvine, CA.

The endorsement follows completion of sterilization validation and device functionality studies performed by ASP in accordance with ANSI/AAMI/ISO standards and guidelines and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements.
