Toshiba America Medical Systems has appointed Joseph Cooper as director of its CT business unit.
A 15-year medical imaging industry veteran, Cooper has been with Toshiba for the past five years, most recently serving as senior manager in charge of strategic development for the CT business unit.
In his new role, Cooper will be responsible for implementing tactical and strategic marketing plans to drive customer satisfaction, market share growth, and profitability, according to the Tustin, CA-based vendor. He will also interface with the global business unit at Toshiba Medical Systems in Japan to communicate the needs and requirements of the U.S. market, Toshiba said.
