Sectra wins Australian contract

Swedish PACS and digital mammography vendor Sectra of Linköping has won a contract with the Australian national mammography screening program, BreastScreen Australia.

Sectra will install four MicroDose full-field digital mammography devices in the state of Victoria for BreastScreen Victoria, which offers free mammography screening to women between the ages of 50 and 69, Sectra said. BreastScreen Victoria consists of eight screening and assessment centers, 32 fixed screening sites, and 28 mobile screening locations.
