Stein to give up IDC CEO job

Canadian digital radiography developer Imaging Dynamics (IDC) said that Darryl Stein will step down from his position as CEO at the end of this year.

Stein will retain the position of president, with responsibility for global sales and strategic planning. The announcement from the Calgary, Alberta-based firm comes as its board of directors reorganizes its executive leadership. The board also created a special operating committee during the transition, and will conduct an executive search for a new CEO.

In addition, Karim Teja, who formerly served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer, will rejoin IDC as a consultant on a short-term contract basis to assist the board during the transition period.
