(Booth 8534) Eizo Nanao Technologies will highlight a 5-megapixel monochrome LCD and a new line of clinical review monitors at this year's RSNA conference.

RadiForce GS520 is designed for digital mammography applications and offers 2048 x 2560 native resolution, according to the Cypress, CA-based firm. It's compatible with a range of graphic boards, and offers brightness uniformity, Eizo said. It comes with a five-year warranty, which specifies that the monitor will maintain a brightness level up to the recommended figure for calibration of 500 cd/m² for a specific number of hours.

2007 11 01 13 12 26 706RadiForce GS520 supports three type input signals, and the display's application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) contains a digital uniformity equalizer (DUE) function to compensate for luminance nonuniformity, Eizo said. Optional quality control packages include RadiCS and RadiNet Pro.

RadiCS offers monitor calibration with a bundled UX1 sensor, self-diagnosis function, and acceptance and constancy testing. RadiNet Pro is a Web-based network quality control management software package for performing remote quality control operations on up to 8,000 monitors from a central location, Eizo said.

Eizo will also roll out its FlexScan MX-Series of clinical review monitors. Available in four models, the line features calibration to the DICOM Part 14 standard using the company's RadiCS LE software, according to Eizo.

The FlexScan MX-Series line includes the 19-inch MX190 with a 1-megapixel (1280 x 1024) native resolution, the 21.3-inch MX210 with a 2-megapixel (1600 x 1200) native resolution, the 24.1-inch MX240W with a 2.3-megapixel (1920 x 1200) native resolution, and the 29.8-inch MX300W with a 4-megapixel (2560 x 1600) native resolution. MX240W and MX300W are available in a wide-screen format with a 16:10 aspect ratio.

The MX-Series also comes with a five-year warranty.
