GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., is collaborating with the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, to fund an educational project entitled "Imagination @ Work: Healthcare Everywhere."
GE Healthcare is sponsoring an undergraduate studio project in which students studying product, environmental, and graphic design will develop ways to improve healthcare in the home.
The students will work with faculty members and a team of GE employees to consider home healthcare possibilities in the future. Designmatters, the Art Center's college-wide initiative for social applications of design, will contribute expertise, research resources, and project documentation.
