A-Life taps new VP

Billing and computerized coding vendor A-Life Medical has hired David Desch as vice president of engineering development and IT.

Desch comes to the San Diego-based firm after stints at Sony Electronics and Cubic Transportation. He will be responsible for leading the expansion of A-Life Medical's natural language processing (NLP) technology to additional healthcare specialties, as well as the development of new products.
