iCAD releases Second Look 700

Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer iCAD of Nashua, NH, has released its Second Look 700 CAD system.

Second Look 700 addresses the needs of film-based breast imaging facilities that have higher patient volumes and that currently own or are planning to buy digital information and medical imaging systems, according to the company. The modular design of the product supports standalone configurations, and it can be upgraded to integrate with a DICOM-based information system, iCAD said.

Other available upgrades include DICOM worklist management, breast MRI CAD processing, radiologist review stations, and digital mammography support. The product comes with a specialized film digitizer, designed and manufactured by iCAD, that allows continuous case feeding, batch feeding of up to 15 cases, and a stat feature that allows a user to immediately process a single case. The base list price of the product is $139,950, the company said.
