Mason leaves GE for CEO job at eMed

GE Medical Systems executive Caren Mason has left the Milwaukee vendor to serve as CEO of teleradiology and PACS firm eMed Technologies of Lexington, MA.

Mason previously was general manager of the women's healthcare business at GE, and prior to that held senior management positions in GE's service business. Before joining GE, she was senior vice president of Agfa's technical imaging business group, which includes Agfa's medical operations.

Mason joins other senior executives on eMed's management team, including president Scott Sheldon and chairman James Bochnowski.
