Lernout & Hauspie Dictaphone Healthcare Solutions Group will emphasize the success of its new PACS/RIS Extension Partner program (PREP) at next week’s RSNA show. The program is designed to stimulate and encourage the integration of the vendor’s PowerScribe speech recognition product for radiology with PACS and RIS applications, according to the Burlington, MA-based company.
At next week’s RSNA meeting, Cerner, Eastman Kodak, and Shared Medical Systems will demonstrate integration of PowerScribe on their radiology workstations, according to L&H. Also participating in the PREP program are Agfa, IDX Systems, and Marconi Medical Systems.
