Volpara Health Technologies is expanding its sponsorship of DenseBreast-Info.org (DBI) by donating 5% of profits from sales of its Volpara Scorecard breast density assessment software to DBI for the next 12 months.
The move comes on the heels of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) mandate that women be notified about their breast tissue density in mammography result letters.
Scorecard is artificial intelligence (AI) software that offers automated, volumetric breast density assessment via an algorithm called TruDensity. Volpara is highlighting its expanded DenseBreast-Info.org sponsorship at the upcoming Society of Breast Imaging (SBI) annual meeting to be held in National Harbor, MD.
